Adoption Assessors
The following is a list of court-approved
adoption assessors that are authorized to perform home studies.
A home study must be completed before the petition will be granted.
It is the petitioner's responsibility to ensure that the home study
course is completed so you should make arrangements with an assessor
immediately. Home studies take up to 90 days to complete. If for
some reason the home study will not be completed prior to the date
of your hearing, you or your attorney must contact the Court so
that a continuance may be requested.
